February 5^th Open House at 7:00pm! - application

Welcome to NCNS!

The Neighborhood Cooperative Nursery School, founded in 1969, was incorporated as a non-profit organization in 1972 and is located in the First Congregational Church, 21 Church Street at the Common, Winchester, MA.

The school employs professionally trained teachers experienced in the field of early childhood education. Being a cooperative gives the nursery school special meaning since the parents not only help in the classroom, but take an active part in the administration and maintenance of the school.

A Board of Directors elected from the membership administers and maintains the school along with the school's director.

A Teacher-Director supports classroom activities and is responsible for curriculum development and coordination of activities

Enrollment For 2009-2010

An open house for prospective parents will be held on the evening of Thursday, February 5th, 2009.  Applications will be available in the school office starting on Monday, February 2nd, 2009, and are also available below for download. Applications can be submitted at the open house on February 5th, or in the office by noon on Friday, February 9th. Students will be chosen by lottery on February 10th, and parents will be notified by mail starting on February 13th.
