NCNS offers four extended day options: Lunch Bunch, Snack Bunch, Construction Club and French Club.
Lunch Bunch allows children to stay for two hours beyond their regular class time up to two times per week. Children bring their lunch and enjoy extended free play and social interaction, story time, and crafts. One teacher supervises up to ten children with no parent-helper.
Lunch Bunch is offered for all morning classes, Monday through Thursday.
Snack Bunch is an extended day option for our afternoon 4/5 year olds' class. Children come to school two hours early to enjoy a snack, extended free play, social interaction, story time and crafts. One teacher supervises up to ten children with no parent-helper.
Snack Bunch is available on Monday and Tuesday from 10:15 a.m. to 12:15 p.m.
Construction Club is a curriculum-based extended day option for four and five year olds. It is limited to ten children with one teacher and no parent-helper.
Construction Club meets Monday through Thursday from 11:45 a.m. to 3 p.m. Children can attend for one to four days per week on a contracted basis for the school year. You can read more about Construction Club's curriculum here.
French Club introduces children to the French language after their regular school day through an age-appropriate curriculum of stories, games, songs and crafts. This program is available to all NCNS children andis limited to 10 children with one teacher and no parent-helper.
French Club meets once per week from 11:45 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. NCNS offers eight or ten-week sessions of French Club throughout the year.
